Scott Group’s story has closely followed the evolution of Oklahoma City—shaped by opportunity and growth. What began as a small, hands-on team managing urban communities expanded as the city grew and demand increased for more thoughtful, market-aware property management. The development of Level Urban in downtown Oklahoma City marked a turning point, introducing larger-scale operations and closer collaboration with development and construction partners.

Following the passing of founder Mel Scott, leadership transitioned to his son, Cooper Scott. With a background in construction management and development, Cooper brought a structured, execution-driven perspective to an established company. While Scott Group was built with strong local roots, he recognized that as property management firms scaled across the industry, proximity to the product was often lost—and established that connection as a defining principle of the business. His vision was to build upon the company’s foundation, strengthening its ability to support local development with local talent—teams who understand the market, the neighborhoods, and the realities of operating properties day to day.

Building on the deep experience of long-tenured team members and intentionally adding new industry talent, Scott Group continued to expand its capabilities while staying grounded in its approach. Today, the company operates a diverse portfolio across multifamily and commercial assets, guided by a focus on disciplined growth and management strategies tailored to each property.
